Ontario Social Development Network – Socio-technical overview

Several years ago many non-profit organizations pooled resources in order to establish a shared information infrastructure. Protracted internal negotiations, late preliminary approval and a sharp right turn in provincial politics provided lots of lessons, some papers, but no shared information infrastructure. We had a service oriented architecture before the term became commonplace.

Those still interested in the project or in pursuing similar implementation may benefit from that experience.
