JACKPOT – You win supper and a flop!

JackpotRiding the subway today educated me on the wonderful contribution of lottery funds to the economic life or our community. ‘JACKPOT – SHELTER’. Seems that one good reason for scratching and itching to score is the big win for those on soup lines and church floors. Obviously we can’t get enough out of people by appealing to charity. And taxes might turn off the trickle in the tap. Let’s try gambling. We know its the best way of getting the poor to pay for a fair share of their keep.

And when they, or any of us, need it, that JACKPOT – MEATLOAF just may be there.
